Privacy Policy

Offerstep is operated by Arctum Digital PTE Ltd, registered in Singapore. This policy says what we collect, why, and what you can ask us to do about it. Questions: support@offerstep.co.
What we collect
- Your email address, so you can sign in and receive your results.
- Your answers to our questions: career goal, field, seniority, work preferences, salary range.
- Your resume — the file you upload or the text you paste — and any job posting you paste so we can tailor your resume to it.
- Profile details, if you choose to fill them in.
- Basic usage data: pages viewed, features used, device and browser type, approximate location from your IP address, and which advertising campaign brought you here.
Card details are entered on our payment provider's page. We never see or store your card number.
Why we use it
To produce the results you ask for, to run your account and sign you in, to take payment, to send you service emails (and tips, if you agreed — unsubscribe at any time), to measure and improve the service and our advertising, and to meet legal obligations.
Processing by AI
To score, rewrite and discuss your resume, we send its text — and any job posting you provide — to an AI provider that processes it on our behalf under contract. It is not used to train public models.
The results are produced by software. They can be wrong or incomplete, they are not professional career advice, and they are not a promise of employment. Every decision about your job search stays yours.
Who else sees it
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who process it for us, under contract, and only for the purposes above. They fall into these categories:
- AI processing, to analyse and rewrite resumes
- File storage, for the documents you upload
- Payment processing
- Email delivery
- Analytics and advertising measurement
We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or in connection with a sale or reorganisation of the business.
How long we keep it
While you have an account, we keep what the service needs to work — including if you cancel your subscription, so that your resumes are still there if you come back.
When you delete your account (Settings → Delete your account, or write to support@offerstep.co), we close it immediately and erase your resumes, uploaded files, generated documents and profile within 30 days. The wait is deliberate: it gives you time to tell us if the deletion was a mistake. We keep payment and tax records for as long as the law requires.
Your choices
- See and change your details in the app at any time.
- Delete your account and data — write to support@offerstep.co.
- Stop marketing emails — the unsubscribe link in any such email, or Settings.
- Cookies — block them in your browser; parts of the service will then not work.
Depending on where you live you may have further rights over your information, including a copy of it, correction, deletion, and objecting to some processing. In California, we do not sell your personal information or share it for cross-context behavioural advertising for money. Write to support@offerstep.co and we will respond.
Cookies
We use cookies to keep you signed in, to remember your place in the questionnaire, and to measure usage and advertising performance.
Other things you should know
- Age — Offerstep is not for people under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
- Where it goes — we operate from Singapore and use providers in other countries, including the United States and the European Union, so your information may be processed there.
- Security — encryption in transit, access controls, and private storage for uploaded files. No service can promise perfect security, but we take this seriously.
- Changes — we will update the date above, and tell you by email or in the app if a change is significant.
