Terms of Service

Last updated: 8 September 2026

These terms are an agreement between you and Arctum Digital PTE Ltd, a company registered in Singapore ("we", "us"), covering your use of Offerstep. By using Offerstep you accept them.

The service

Offerstep analyses your resume, rewrites it for specific job postings, prepares you for interviews, and answers your job-search questions. Parts of the service are free; the rest requires a paid subscription, described in our Subscription Terms.

What we do not promise

Offerstep is a tool, not a recruiter, employment agency or career counsellor. Scores, rewritten resumes, questions and advice are generated by software and may contain errors. We do not promise that you will get an interview, an offer or a job, and we do not promise any particular score, response rate or salary.

Check what we produce before you send it anywhere. You are the one who knows whether a line about your own career is true, and you remain responsible for everything you submit to an employer.

We are not lawyers, immigration advisers, tax or financial advisers, and nothing here is professional advice of that kind.

Your account

Your content

You keep all rights to the resumes, job postings and other material you provide. You give us permission to store and process that material only in order to provide the service to you, as described in our Privacy Policy.

You confirm that the material you upload is yours to upload, and that it is accurate. Do not upload anyone else's personal information without their permission.

Output

The resumes, cover letters and other documents Offerstep produces for you are yours to use as you wish. Because the output is generated from your own material, similar input may produce similar output for other users; we cannot grant you exclusivity over it.

Acceptable use

Use Offerstep for your own job search, lawfully. Specifically, do not:

If you find a security flaw, please tell us at support@offerstep.co rather than exploiting it. We will not pursue anyone who reports a problem in good faith and gives us a reasonable chance to fix it.

Suspending and closing accounts

If we find activity that breaks these rules, we may suspend or close the account, and block access to the service. Where a threat to the service, to other users or to data is involved, we may act immediately and without notice; otherwise we will tell you what happened and why, and where the situation allows it, give you a chance to put it right.

Closing an account for breaking these terms does not entitle you to a refund of the current period, beyond what our Refund Policy already gives you. If your account is closed, your data is deleted as described in the Privacy Policy.

You may also close your account at any time — see the Subscription Terms.

Our rights

Offerstep, including its software, text and design, belongs to us. These terms do not transfer any of it to you.

Availability

We aim to keep the service running, but we do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may change, suspend or discontinue features.

Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the service is provided "as is", and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost opportunities, lost earnings or lost data. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

Ending the agreement

You can stop using Offerstep and cancel your subscription at any time — see the Subscription Terms. We may end this agreement if you break these terms.

Changes

We may update these terms. If we make significant changes we will tell you by email or in the app before they take effect.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Singapore, and the courts of Singapore have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.
